Simms Home Hardware was established in 1974. The name Simms originated from a roofing company, which was bought and changed into a building supply store. The store was brought under the Home Hardware Building Centre banner in 1996. The Simms name was kept as it was a well established name in the city.
At Simms you can expect to be greeted by a family member during some point of your shopping experience. John and Judy Burgess have proudly owned and operated the business since 1974. Their three children, Ronnie, Stephen and Abby Burgess, are actively involved in all aspects of the business. We look forward to helping you with your building needs.
